Fish skin is a bi-product from fishery and that fact is very much in line with our philosophy of conservering natural resources. The look can be compared to the look of pyton and the material is extremely strong. Fish skin is naturally waterproof.

I asked the producer to make a pair of ballerina that were so soft that they could be rolled. He did. The shoes are delicate and thin and the rough fish skin balances the very feminine shape.

The starting point for designing those shoes was the fact that we want to wear sneakers in winter. And it's just too cold. So what we did was to make a pair of sneakers lined with lamb-fur. They are fantastic to wear - you don't feel like wearing socks at all. The fish-skin assures the luxury look.
